Cancer Support, Education and Hope

The mission of The Wellness Community is to help people with cancer and their loved ones enhance health and well being by providing a professional program of support, education and hope, completely free of charge.

The Wellness Community - Greater Boston is part of a 21-year old international organization with over 20 locations all specializing in providing free support and education to people living with cancer.

Milton Farkas Living Room

  • We provide a safe harbor from fear, isolation and emotional turmoil in a home-like setting.
  • We offer tools to help you navigate through the cancer experience and move beyond the diagnosis.
  • All of our programs are staffed by specially trained, licensed psychotherapists.

     Newcomers Orientation is offered every Tuesday at 5:30 PM and every Thursday at 10:00 AM. The orientation meetings are facilitated by a cancer survivor and help inform you of the array of services we have available for people with cancer, their families and caregivers.

The Wellness Community - Greater Boston is located in an historic mill building next to Echo Bridge and the Charles River at 1039 Chestnut Street in Newton Upper Falls.
