this course, we will practice yoga contemplatively.
Using posture and breath as mirrors, our emphasis
will be on strengthening our capacity to stay in
balance in the face of our constantly changing lives.

Basic Drawing for People with Cancer
Anyone can draw and art is a valuable tool for stress reduction! Join Jack Klugerman, BFA Massachusetts College of Art and TWC participant, who will teach you the basics of drawing in a comfortable and non-judgmental atmosphere. The class will meet weekly and materials will be provided. Absolutely no experience necessary!

Come explore color and portray on paper the world within yourself. This workshop is for anyone who has a love for the creative process! Kathleen Klein, an art therapist and cancer survivor, will guide you through this experience.

Qi-Gong
Qi-Gong is a system of Chinese health care that
combines physical training, preventive and therapeutic
medicine. It can provide stress reduction and relief
from the symptoms of illness and treatment. Taught
by Chun-Chi Zhu, a licensed Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese
Medicine practitioner.

Tai Chi
Practice this ancient form of Chinese exercise known
for its relaxing, energizing and health-enhancing
benefits. Now taught by Chun-Chi Zhu.

Writing for Wellness
Based on the therapeutic benefits of writing for people dealing with traumatic events, The Wellness Community began a weekly writing program led by Claire Willis, LICSW. Each week is different and is open to anyone living with cancer, caretaking someone with cancer or who has lost someone to cancer.
Tuesdays from 10:30AM to 12:30PM
Yoga
Increase your energy, improve muscle tone and
flexibility, as well as stress management skills.
Yoga combines stretching, breathing, and relaxation
exercises. Taught by certified Yoga instructors
Gretchen Daggett and Barbara Levine.
Mondays
at 5:45pm, Wednesdays at 3:30pm and Thursdays at
